Orawia Substation Upgrade

Orawia Substation is currently being upgraded to replace ageing infrastructure.

The outdoor 11kV circuit breakers are being replaced with indoor Siemens switchgear. A new control room with Feeder Protection, Transformer Protection and SCADA panels. The Local Service Transformer is being replace, as is the DC supply.

The next stage of the project will seethe new 66kV CT structure connect to the existing transformer.
